The big problem is - where to begin.

You've already realized how easy it is to write HTML code. But where do you start?

My Problems With Writing

I had the same problem with writing until my late teens. What to do first. I knew how to find out about things. I had learned how to read and write when I was five.

But the rules that my teacher taught me seemed to leave me further and further behind, at the bottom of the class. I had all the information I needed, but I didn't know what to do with it. Then I read a book about the Exam secret that explained step by step how to write essays. I've never stopped writing since!

The book said - if you can't spell something, don't spell it...find a different word that you can spell. If you can't punctuate, don't punctuate, write with short sentences that don't need punctuation. Do you see how this attitude could apply when you want to make your own website?

If You Know Too Many Choices Toss A Coin

When I was very young I was shown how to tie my shoe laces one way. Later I discovered several ways to do it. I'm glad that I wasn't confused by that information when I was beginning!

This site sets out to show you one way to build a profitable website (instead of trying to show you all the ways) one step at a time.

Why I put the videos in a special place.

I planned to put videos on each page to give you the chance to "look over my shoulder" as I worked. The problem I found was that the files are too big to go on my website. So I loaded them up to Google Video, and put them in a members-only directory. Now Google Video is closing, so I'll have to move all the enormous files to youtube.

I noticed that most of the cheap keyword tools nowadays don't offer a comparison of supply and demand for each keyword, so I used to include a free keyword tool, but Googgle changes its rules too fast to keep up with, so I no longer offer the free keyword tool.
