Now You Can Design HTML Website - It's Not Difficult At All

Design HTML website - you can do it without knowing html with a wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) editor but there are problems. You get a great sense of achievement when you write your own code...even though it is so easy! And you can do things that wysiwyg editors won't let you do.

Wysiwyg programs are great...as long as you want what the programmers expect. However, sooner or later you will try something that the program can't do, and then you have to step in and correct the code. What happens then if you haven't learned to write html layout codes for yourself?

From time to time you will want to create a link somewhere else than on your website. It could be in any "web 2" sites, or it could be in an article that you have written to get back links to promote your website. You will have to hand-code these links, so you need to know about hand coding!

If you make a blog and want to put a picture there, they will dump the picture wherever it suits the software, which is rarely where you want it to go, so you need to know html image codes to position the picture where you want it.

Did you know that color html web design doesn't use the same code for all browsers? If you use html background codes in Frontpage for instance, the colors will be right for Internet Explorer, but probably not right for any other browser. Learn in these tutorials how to choose the right color.

I haven't tried a wysiwyg program, so I don't know if they are any good for html form code, but I wouldn't expect them to be as versatile as a human coder.

How can I learn HTML? These HTML tutorials will take you step by step through the procedure of designing money-making web pages. They will not show you clever coding that will drive your visitor away, such as this nasty page which I prepared to demonstrate some things that you must not do!
